Senior Golang Engineer Offline

We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join our engineering team and work on scalable backend systems and services.

This role is a good fit for an engineer who is comfortable taking ownership of technical solutions — from architecture and implementation to deployment and production support. We are looking for strong hands-on Go expertise, solid backend engineering fundamentals, and experience building reliable production systems.
 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and systems using Go
• Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications
• Take ownership of technical solutions from design to production deployment
• Design and improve service architecture, APIs, and integrations
• Work with relational databases and optimize data access and application performance
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other teams on technical solutions
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and code reviews
• Improve code quality, testing practices, monitoring, and overall system reliability
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify opportunities for performance and stability improvements
• Contribute to engineering standards, development processes, and technical documentation
   

Experience and skills:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on commercial experience with Go
• Strong understanding of Go, including concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and performance optimization
• Strong experience designing and developing backend services and REST/gRPC APIs
• Experience with microservice and distributed architectures
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including query optimization, indexes, and transactions
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes
• Good understanding of Linux and production environments
• Experience with automated testing and writing maintainable, production-quality code
• Understanding of system scalability, reliability, observability, and fault tolerance
• Ability to independently analyze technical problems and propose solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
   

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or other messaging technologies
• Experience with high-load or high-throughput systems
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
• Understanding of security best practices for backend and distributed systems
• Experience optimizing Go applications for performance and resource efficiency
