DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

We are now looking for an experienced engineer to take ownership of the company’s cloud infrastructure. The initial challenges will include auditing and structuring existing resources, automating deployment and management of cloud environments, setting up centralized monitoring, and strengthening security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency

• Automate to enhance system resilience and minimize manual effort

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems

• Build and support infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines

• Manage backup and recovery processes, including automation and testing

• Conduct regular security audits and implement improvements

• Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure design and deployment for new applications

• Maintain existing infrastructure in line with SLAs and performance targets

• Provide on-call support, troubleshoot incidents, and minimize downtime

Experience and skills

• 4+ years of experience in IT, including 2+ years as a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer

• Comprehensive understanding of AWS services like VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, ALB, CloudFront etc., or similar experience with other cloud providers

• Knowledge of containerization and Docker

• Experience in establishing monitoring and alerting systems and using them to notify teams about emerging issues

• Knowledge of networks and security (VPN, routing, firewalls)

• Experience with automation infrastructure management and provisioning with the IaC approach

• Good understanding of SDLC and CI/CD processes

• Basic coding skills (Bash, Groovy, HCL, TS, Python)

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux based systems

• Knowledge of Git

• Ability to take full ownership of projects
