Trainee Manual QA Engineer
Streamline develops an AI-powered supply chain planning platform used by more than 2,000 companies worldwide. It is a mature product with complex planning logic, AI capabilities and many technical challenges where better solutions can still be found.
We are looking for a Trainee Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help maintain the high quality of our web product.
π‘ Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems are important to us. If you have participated in mathematics olympiads, programming competitions or similar contests, be sure to tell usβthis experience may be a significant advantage.
What we expect:
- English at the B1 level or higher.
- Basic understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of HTTP request methods and status codes, including how they work in web applications.
- Practical experience with browser developer tools, particularly Chrome DevTools.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience testing APIs with Postman, Insomnia or similar tools.
- A completed technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field is required.
It will be a plus if you have:
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Qase.
- Knowledge of project management platforms such as Jira, Trello or Rally.
- Knowledge of test design techniques and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
What you will do:
- Thoroughly test new functionality during development to ensure high product quality.
- Identify, document and verify defects, and monitor their timely resolution.
- Participate in smoke and regression testing to verify the stability and integrity of the system.
- Create and review test documentation, including checklists, test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Test APIs using Postman, validate requests and responses, and ensure the backend works as expected.
- Gather and analyse requirements for new and existing functionality, contribute to the knowledge base and deepen your understanding of the product.
