Senior System Administrator

FinTech Synergy is looking for a Senior System Administrator to help us maintain, develop, and continuously improve the infrastructure behind our company and products.

We build complex IT and FinTech solutions, including payment systems, financial platforms, Crypto/Web3 products, and other high-load systems.

We’re looking for an experienced and highly independent professional who doesn’t just resolve tickets, but sees infrastructure as a complete system, identifies weak points, automates routine operations, and takes ownership of the result.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers and infrastructure.
• Ensure system stability, availability, performance, and security.
• Configure and maintain networking infrastructure, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and access controls.
• Work with Docker and containerized environments.
• Administer cloud and virtualized infrastructure.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, SSH keys, and infrastructure access.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Automate repetitive administration tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Developers, QA Engineers, and other members of the technical team.
• Continuously improve infrastructure, documentation, security, and internal IT processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in System Administration / Infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing, firewalls.
• Practical experience with Docker.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of information security and infrastructure hardening.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
• Hands-on automation experience with Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development lifecycle.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve complex technical problems.
• English sufficient for working with technical documentation.

Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL/Redis, GitLab CI/GitHub Actions, high-load systems, and FinTech, Payments, Crypto, or Web3 infrastructure.
