IT Corporate Specialist

Softengi is a fast-growing IT company that develops and supports a wide range of technology projects. We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for the company’s operations in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• At least 3 years of professional legal experience.
• Experience working in an IT company or providing legal support to IT businesses.
• A solid understanding of IT terminology and the specifics of the IT industry.
• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian legislation, including civil, commercial, corporate, labor, and tax law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts.
• Experience preparing legal opinions, official correspondence, claims, and other legal documents.
• Practical experience interacting with government authorities.
• Experience in negotiations, dispute resolution, claims management, and litigation support.
• Proficiency in Legal English sufficient to review and work with standard agreements (e.g., NDA, MSA, etc.).
• The ability to deliver tasks within agreed deadlines in accordance with SLA requirements.
• Location: Ukraine (remote work from any city in Ukraine is available).

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, agreements, acceptance certificates, and other legal documents in compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
• Provide legal support for the company’s day-to-day business operations.
• Communicate and coordinate legal documentation with managers, clients, and internal teams.
• Advise internal stakeholders on the application of Ukrainian legislation.
• Prepare legal opinions, official letters, claims, explanatory notes, and other legal documents.
• Resolve legal disputes and cooperate with external legal advisors when necessary.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s unified legal policies and procedures.
• Monitor changes in Ukrainian legislation and prepare legal updates and analytical reports.
• Review tender documentation and provide legal support for the company’s participation in tenders within Ukraine.

Working Conditions

• Full-time employment (overtime may be required when necessary).
• Remote work from any city in Ukraine or the opportunity to work from our Kyiv office.
