On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Python Engineer

Requirements:

- 5+ years of Python development experience in enterprise or financial environments

- Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income) and market data

- Experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PySpark, Pydantic, PyTorch, or QuantLib

- Experience with trading systems, risk engines, or portfolio management platforms

- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and API development

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- English: Upper-Intermediate +

Nice to have:

- Experience in the UK financial sector

- Knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, Basel III, SOX)

- Experience mentoring developers and leading code reviews
