Middle Test Engineer (mobile)

Work schedule: till 9-10 pm

Requirements:

• Own end-to-end testing for an FDA-regulated Android application in diabetes care. You will design risk-based tests, automate critical user flows, and ship compliant, high-quality releases for global markets. Work closely with Android/IOS developers, QA, Product, and Regulatory as a senior individual contributor.
• 3+ years in software testing, including mobile; 2+ years focused on Android or IOS
• Good knowledge of testing methodology, test development, and test execution.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git
• Experience with test management and traceability in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with medical software regulations and standards (IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA) and creating verification evidence.
• English: at least B2 (all interview stages are in English)

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute manual test suites for the Android/IOS app using the client’s internal mobile test framework (custom, conceptually similar to common mobile automation stacks).
Create test plans, test cases, and test reports; define entry/exit and gating criteria for releases.
Build, stabilize, and monitor regression and smoke suites; ensure green builds and rapid failure isolation.
Analyze requirements and influence design for testability; identify coverage gaps and add use cases accordingly.
Ensure end-to-end traceability and compliance-ready verification evidence in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory.
Partner daily with Android/IOS engineers, QA, Product, and Scrum Master to drive release readiness.
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement of the test process.

Project:

Join the Android/IOS Engineering team delivering safety-critical, regulated mobile software for diabetes care. You will focus on product quality and reliability for international markets, with domain onboarding provided to accelerate your impact. Framework development is out of scope for this role; you will use and configure the existing internal framework to achieve high coverage and reliable automation.
