Automation QA Engineer (TypeScript + Playwright)
Strikersoft was formed in 2010 through an alliance between Wexcellcia AB and Ukrainian Mobile Technologies Solutions LLC. Both companies were established in 2004 and have successfully provided telecommunication and IT solutions in competitive markets.
Our headquarters are located in Kista, Stockholm (Sweden), while our R&D offices are based in Kyiv (Ukraine) and Bucharest (Romania).
At the moment, we are expanding our team and looking for an Automation QA Engineer (TypeScript + Playwright) to join a British enterprise software project.
Project description:
The project is focused on collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of business data provided by users and organizations. The main goal is to ensure accurate data processing, automated calculations, and provide users with actionable insights through analytics and reporting capabilities.
The platform includes several key components:
1. Data collection and input
User-friendly interfaces allowing clients to submit and manage required business information efficiently.
2. Data validation
Automated and rule-based validation processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with defined business requirements before storage.
3. Data storage and processing
Secure storage and processing of large datasets with automated workflows and database operations.
4. Automated calculations
Business logic and calculation services that generate accurate results based on collected and validated data.
5. Analytics and visualization
Interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical tools helping users understand processed data and make informed decisions.
Project tech stack:
React, .NET Core, TypeScript, Playwright, Azure, Azure DevOps, SQL Server
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation testing framework using Playwright and TypeScript
- Develop and maintain End-to-End (E2E) automated tests using Playwright
- Develop and maintain REST API automation tests
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Configure and maintain Quality Gates to ensure release readiness and prevent regressions
- Analyze automated test execution results and provide clear reporting to the development team
- Plan, design, execute, and maintain automated test scenarios
- Perform manual testing activities when required
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners as part of an Agile team
- Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and QA best practices
Requirements
- 3-5 years of QA experience
- 2+ years of experience in test automation using TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Experience with REST API automation testing
- Good knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Quality Gates
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken)
