Senior Test Automation Engineer (ConnectWise)

CUSTOMER

ConnectWise is a US-based software company specializing in IT service management solutions for Managed Service Providers. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, the company delivers products that help IT providers automate business operations, manage client infrastructure, and improve technical support processes for customers worldwide.

PROJECT

You will work on BrightGauge, a ConnectWise product designed to help IT service providers visualize and monitor business performance through dashboards and reporting tools. The project focuses on expanding automation capabilities across web UI, APIs, and platform integrations while supporting migration to a new technical platform.

Responsibilities:

• Extend existing web UI and API automation frameworks with new test scenarios
• Collaborate with the team during migration to a new platform
• Design and develop Python-based automation frameworks
• Select appropriate technologies and approaches for automation solutions
• Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to investigate issues and improve testing strategies
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and quality reporting activities
• Mentor Junior specialists and support knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong Python skills with the ability to write maintainable and scalable test code
• Strong experience with Playwright
• Strong experience in Web API testing using REST and HTTP protocols
• Solid understanding of test design techniques
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and engineering principles
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Practical experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI, integration, E2E, API, localization, and cross-browser testing
• Good AWS knowledge and understanding of cloud-based architectures
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Strong Git workflows and collaboration practices
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

WILL BE A PLUS:

• Strong experience with Selenium and Pytest
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Cypress
• Experience with Robot Framework

Обовʼяки:

• Розширювати існуючі web UI та API automation frameworks новими test scenarios
• Співпрацювати з командою під час міграції на нову платформу
• Проєктувати та розробляти automation frameworks на базі Python
• Обирати відповідні технології та підходи для automation solutions
• Інтегрувати automation frameworks у CI/CD pipelines
• Розробляти, запускати та підтримувати automated tests
• Співпрацювати з development і QA командами для дослідження проблем і вдосконалення testing strategies
• Брати участь у sprint planning, backlog refinement та quality reporting activities

• Менторити Junior спеціалістів і підтримувати knowledge sharing у команді

   

Вимоги:

• 4+ роки досвіду в test automation
• Сильні навички Python із вмінням писати maintainable та scalable test code
• Значний досвід роботи з Playwright
• Значний досвід Web API testing із використанням REST та HTTP protocols
• Ґрунтовне розуміння test design techniques
• Сильні знання software design patterns та engineering principles
• Досвід створення automation frameworks з нуля
• Практичний досвід functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI, integration, E2E, API, localization та cross-browser testing
• Хороші знання AWS і розуміння cloud-based architectures
• Досвід інтеграції тестів у CI/CD pipelines за допомогою GitHub Actions або GitLab CI
• Сильні навички роботи з Git workflows і collaboration practices

• Рівень англійської — Upper-Intermediate
