Junior AI Automation Engineer — B2B contract, remote
 

UAIN Solutions is an AI and automation services company working with organisations across the UK, Benelux, and Nordic markets. We deliver process automation, Agentic AI, Microsoft Power Platform, and UiPath solutions end-to-end, as a lean team of senior practitioners.
 

This is a B2B engagement, not employment: you will invoice UAIN Solutions as an independent contractor.
 

What you will do

You will write Python and C#, build workflows in UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform, and integrate AI-powered steps using LLM and agent tooling. You take scoped deliverables and are accountable for the result. Deliverables are accepted when they are tested, documented, and do what the requirement asked. How you get there is your call. Scope and rates grow with demonstrated capability.

• Build, test, and maintain automation components in Python, C#, UiPath, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Write clean, documented code and use Git properly from your first commit.
• Use AI tools, including Claude, as part of your engineering workflow.
• Integrate automations with cloud services and APIs on AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Debug failures, and escalate with a clear account of what you have already tried.
• Take part in code review, and observe client discovery sessions and demos.
   

Required

• Python. You can write clear functions, handle errors, work with APIs and data structures, and read someone else's code.
• C#. The language and object-oriented fundamentals. Study, personal projects, or professional work all count.
• UiPath Academy certificate of completion — mandatory. Complete the Automation Developer Associate Training learning plan on UiPath Academy and include your certificate with your application. • Cloud. Foundational knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure: core services, compute and storage, and how applications authenticate and connect.
• English, B1 minimum, written and spoken.
• Development basics: version control, testing, and documentation.

The stack: Python, C#, UiPath, Power Automate, Power Platform, AWS / Google Cloud / Azure, Claude and Azure OpenAI, SQL, REST APIs, Git, n8n and Make. We do not expect all of it on day one.
 

Nice to have

• Automations you have already built in UiPath or Power Platform, including university or personal projects.
• Exposure to LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks.
• SQL, REST APIs, JSON, or Git-based team workflows.
• Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Automate.
• A GitHub profile or portfolio.
