Google Workspace / GCP Migration Engineer (Outstaff)

💰 Compensation: $20–25/hour gross

🌍 English: B2 preferred. We are open to considering technically strong candidates with B1+ English if they are an excellent match for the role.

We are currently conducting the search and recruitment process for one of our international clients as part of a long-term outstaff engagement.

About the Role

We are looking for a Google Workspace & GCP Migration Engineer to support projects involving Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) migrations. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing cloud migrations while ensuring infrastructure reliability, security, and minimal service disruption.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform migrations.
• Analyze existing environments and prepare migration strategies.
• Migrate services, workloads, and cloud resources.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure after migration.
• Troubleshoot migration-related issues and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of cloud environments.
• Collaborate closely with the client's technical team throughout the migration process.

Client Requirements

• Commercial experience with Google Workspace.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience delivering cloud migration projects.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Python or Bash scripting.
• Google Cloud certifications.
• Google Workspace administration experience.
• Experience with cloud automation.
