Senior Full-Stack Developer (TypeScript/Next.js + AI)

Looking for a senior developer for a US EdTech client: they have an LMS platform (Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript) and working AI personalization prototypes - vector database, embeddings, semantic search, agent workflows. The job is to take these prototypes to production and own the technical thinking, not just close tickets.

What you'll do:

• Move personalization prototypes (embeddings, semantic search) into their production Next.js apps
• Maintain and extend their Claude Code agent skills pipeline (code review, QA, deploy automation)
• Review architecture and push back where it's wrong - the client explicitly wants this

• Join client calls 

   

Requirements:

• Senior-level TypeScript / Next.js / Node.js
• Production experience with embeddings and semantic search (you can explain when to extract attributes into filterable fields vs keeping them in embeddings)
• Daily hands-on work with Claude Code or similar AI dev tooling
• Spoken English for client video calls - hard requirement; their team will talk to you directly

• 30+ hrs/week availability

   

Same person for the whole project, no handoffs. Possible extension after 3 months - the client has a steady pipeline of AI work.
