What you will do:

Join an in-house digital product environment where delivery decisions have a direct, visible effect on product performance and commercial outcomes. You will lead day-to-day engineering delivery for a predominantly senior, cross-functional product team of up to 15 people, while partnering closely with the Delivery Manager and engineering leads.

What success looks like

  • Engineering delivery becomes transparent: current work, progress, capacity, dependencies, quality risks and delays are visible and supported by reliable data.
  • Sprint execution becomes predictable, with a consistently high proportion of planned scope completed and deviations explained through facts rather than assumptions.
  • Code-review, QA and release bottlenecks are identified early and reduced without trading delivery speed for product stability.
  • Production incidents are coordinated effectively, followed by root-cause analysis and completed corrective or preventive actions.
  • Individual and team performance decisions are supported by relevant engineering and delivery metrics, operational context and observable results.
  • Business stakeholders receive clear, timely information and can confidently understand the team’s delivery status and risks.
  • AI and MCP-enabled workflows are used as practical daily management tools for analysis, task decomposition, evidence collection and operational decision-making.

Your scope

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery across frontend, backend and QA workstreams.
  • Run daily delivery routines, track progress, surface blockers and drive agreed actions to completion.
  • Prepare an independent fact-based view of delivery status, capacity, risks and deviations for sprint planning and retrospectives conducted together with the Delivery Manager.
  • Build and maintain useful delivery, quality, engineering and performance visibility using available data and MCP-enabled tooling.
  • Ensure merge requests, reviews, QA validation and release readiness do not remain blocked without clear ownership and action.
  • Coordinate production incidents from classification and team mobilisation through recovery, communication, root-cause analysis and follow-up actions.
  • Assess individual and team performance based on delivered outcomes, evidence, quality and context; provide recommendations to the Delivery Manager and HR.
  • Work with engineering leads to implement technical decisions, manage dependencies and challenge delivery assumptions when the data indicates risk.
  • Communicate regularly with internal business stakeholders and translate delivery realities into clear options, impacts and decisions.

What you bring:

  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in software delivery, engineering management, project management or a closely related leadership role.
  • Experience managing a software or product team of approximately 10–15 people, including individual and team performance management.
  • Strong practical understanding of the full SDLC and the different delivery risks of frontend, backend, APIs, databases, CI/CD and software testing.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, investigate root causes and make independent decisions without waiting for step-by-step instructions.
  • A record of improving delivery predictability, engineering transparency, product quality or production stability through measurable outcomes.
  • Practical experience using AI tools and MCP-enabled workflows in delivery or engineering management; general familiarity with AI is not sufficient.
  • Confidence working with senior engineers and leads while retaining accountability for delivery execution and follow-through.
  • Strong analytical communication: you can explain what happened, why it happened, the business impact and the next decision required.
  • English at B2 level or above; team communication is primarily in Russian and Ukrainian.

Relevant background

Experience in iGaming is an advantage but is not mandatory. Strong in-house product experience in fintech, payments, high-load SaaS or e-commerce can be equally relevant. Previous software engineering experience is a strong advantage, but not a formal requirement.

Environment and tools

The environment includes Node.js, PHP, SQL/MariaDB, AWS, GitHub/GitLab data accessed through MCP, Teamwork.com, Slack, Notion, Grafana, Figma, Customer.io, telemetry and digital analytics tools. Exact prior experience with every tool is not expected; the ability to understand the system and use data effectively is essential.

Working format

  • Full-time remote role with required working overlap across a team operating between UTC and UTC+3.
  • One-week sprint cadence, frequent production releases and a high level of product innovation.
  • Direct reporting to the Delivery Manager and close daily cooperation with engineering and QA leads.
  • Three-month probation period.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary in USD.
  • Remote work in a flexible environment.
  • 20 paid working days of vacation.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Professional growth opportunities.
  • Participation in top industry events and conferences.
  • International workshops at competence centres.

Hiring process

  1. Recruiter screening.
  2. Main interview with the hiring manager, and potentially the COO.
  3. Optional final conversation with the Product owner.
