C++ Software Development Engineer (2D/3D)
LOCATION: Ukraine (remote), Poland (remote), Uzbekistan (Hybrid)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of software solutions for a global technology company. Our customers deliver industry-leading products used by professionals worldwide, helping businesses design, visualize, and optimize complex engineering solutions. As part of an international engineering team, you will contribute to building reliable, high-quality software that supports innovative products and long-term technology initiatives.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience as Software Development Engineer
EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in C++ development, with strong knowledge of modern C++ standards and best practices.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, with experience in performance tuning and optimization.
- Solid grasp of computational geometry, including handling 2D/3D geometric data
- Strong knowledge of the C++ Standard Library (STL) and Boost.
- Knowledge of computer graphics concepts and experience with graphics technologies such as OpenGL, WebGL, or Three.js.
- Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and common software architecture patterns.
- Proficiency with common C++ development tools and environments (e.g., Visual Studio, CMake).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, performance-critical systems.
Intermediate+ English level.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Hands-on experience developing or extending solutions for CAD platforms such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA V5, or SOLIDWORKS, including API-based customization, automation, and workflow integration.
- Understanding of Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including their role in engineering and manufacturing environments, data management, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience applying computational geometry algorithms to solid modeling, visualization, simulation, or other geometry-intensive applications.
- Experience working with commercial geometric modeling kernels, such as Parasolid.
- Developing new features and enhancing existing functionality
- Automating processes to streamline workflows
- Fixing software issues and ensuring system stability
- Refactoring code to improve quality and performance
