Senior Project Manager (Fintech exp)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Dataforest and lead a long-term, high-scale FinTech project.

About the Project:
Our client is building a powerful B2B SaaS platform designed to revolutionize chargeback management, featuring enterprise-grade API integrations (Ethoca, Verifi), seamless payment processor connections (Stripe, Shopify, Braintree), and real-time dispute alerts. We are actively developing and scaling multiple product streams, including Business Health, Dispute Management, and others.

    You'll be a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of PM experience, specifically in an IT outsourcing company (must-have).
• Domain expertise: Mandatory experience in FinTech / Payments.
• English level: C1 (Advanced) — strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Skills: Excellent ability to context-switch between dynamic tasks and effectively manage multiple teams/streams.
• Web Dev & Methodology: Proven experience managing web development projects; strong expertise in Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Planning & Execution: Strong knowledge of project planning, estimation, and defining success metrics.

• Documentation & Tools: Deep understanding of project documentation and hands-on experience with task tracking systems (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

   

     What you’ll do:

• Lead a large-scale project: Coordinate up to 30 team members structured into up to 10 autonomous sub-teams.
• Drive & improve AI-driven SDLC: Manage, optimize, and take full initiative in improving project delivery processes using modern AI tools and practices.
• Resource & Capacity Management: Plan and document project objectives, timelines, tasks, and work assignments while taking full ownership of team capacity and resource allocation.
• Define and track project success metrics.
• Set tasks for team members (developers, designers, QAs, and other specialists).
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain full, effective interaction with the development team, key clients, and external 3rd-party providers/integrations (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, payment gateways, etc.).
