DevOps

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and maintain infrastructure across several small client projects.

This is a part-time role with involvement of up to 60 hours per month. There are no fixed working hours - when everything is stable, work is planned and agreed in advance. When an issue arises, we expect a response within 2 hours.

You will work autonomously, so strong ownership and written communication skills are important.

English level B1+ is required for async communication with clients and the team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple projects
• Respond to infrastructure incidents and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Write and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash)
• Apply basic security practices across environments

• Document changes and communicate updates clearly in writing

   

Required Skills

• Confident Linux administration (users, permissions, services, troubleshooting)
• Solid understanding of computer networking (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing)
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipelines
• Basic understanding of security principles

• Strong written English — async communication is the default

   

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, etc.)

• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
