Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong experience designing and implementing automated quality assurance strategies across desktop, web, and backend systems. The role emphasizes scalable automation, performance validation, CI/CD integration, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design and own end-to-end test automation strategy.

Implement and maintain test automation frameworks.

Build and improve CI/CD-based quality gates.

Perform stress, load, and performance testing.

Partner closely with developers and architects to improve product quality.

Leverage AI-assisted testing and automation capabilities.

Required Skills

Several years of senior test automation experience.

Expertise across multiple testing layers:

Unit testing

Integration testing

System testing

UI testing

Performance testing

Stress testing

Strong programming skills in at least one of: C#, Java, Python ot TypeScript

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control.

Experience with modern automation tools such as: Playwright, Cypress, Ranorex or GitLab CI

Nice to Have

C# development background.

Penetration testing experience.

ISTQB certification.

Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools.

Experience in regulated industries.

Engagement

Full-time involvement expected

Initial duration approximately 6 months

Fluent English required

German language skills are an advantage
