Senior Azure Migration Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Administrator to join a large-scale cloud transformation project focused on migrating approximately 150 Virtual Machines to Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure landing zone and target architecture, as well as modernizing SQL Server workloads and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions. Your tasks:
- Driving a large-scale cloud transformation project with an aggressive delivery timeline
- Managing the migration of Virtual Machines to Microsoft Azure using a rehost approach
- Modernizing SQL Server workloads and implementing Azure SQL technologies
- Replacing on-premises File Servers and NetApp NAS shares with Azure Files
- Designing and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Host Pools
- Delivering a secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure landing zone and target architecture
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives
Leading technical workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure infrastructure
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Migrate, and Azure Backup & Site Recovery
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server migration and optimization
- Strong command of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Practical experience with Azure Virtual Network (VNet) and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Azure migration projects, including environments with 100+ servers
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
- Advanced level of English
Nice to have:
- Experience with VPN and ExpressRoute
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell
- Experience with Azure DevOps
