Quality Assurance Engineer (Selenium) (offline)

Project Description:
Among other projects you will test an advanced analytical platforms (implemented in Python) and contribute to its improvement, stability, scalability and new features. You will interact with developers, infrastructure teams and data architects.

Responsibilities:
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of front and server side trading applications
• Design, write, execute, and maintain automated test cases for algorithmic trading, electronic trading, and other trading-related applications
• Write test automation scripts in Selenium in Python for front end testing
• Identify, analyze, and report test results
Mandatory Skills:
• Recent experience working in a CI/CD environment & technology stack (maven, git/bitbucket, Jenkins, Teamcity)
• Strong recent experience creating test frameworks
• Proactive personality with a proven track record of following through and delivering on responsibilities
• Experience using JIRA
• Automation testing using Selenium with the ability to write scripts
• Load Testing skills
• Possess good interpersonal skills to work with developers
• Solid ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting testing efforts to meet project needs and deadlines
• Strong sense of ownership and self-sufficiency
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies, including test case design, test scripting, defect analysis, defect reporting, and defect tracking
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical testing approaches
• Testing practices such as BDD (frameworks knowledge like Cucumber or Behave will be an additional advantage)
• Experience working with REST API and requests
• Experience with airflow, virtual machine, or docker
• Exposure to data science tools/modules such as Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Data Frames, Numpy, etc
• Agile/Scrum Methodology is a plus
