Archysoft is a software development company with over 10 years of experience delivering solutions to clients across the United States and Western Europe.
We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to maintain and further develop a mature native iOS application for managing Bluetooth-enabled devices. The product also includes encrypted chats, audio and video calls, media functionality, and a companion Apple Watch application.
The project has been actively developed since 2018 and includes a large Swift codebase, multiple application targets, regional builds, and integrations with physical devices.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain and further develop the native iOS application;
- Investigate production issues and crashes;
- Implement new features and support new iOS versions and devices;
- Work with Bluetooth Low Energy, custom device protocols, background connections, and OTA firmware updates;
- Maintain WebRTC calls, CallKit integration, encrypted chats, and secure local storage;
- Support the Apple Watch application and background audio functionality;
- Manage TestFlight and App Store releases;
- Maintain multiple application targets and regional configurations;
- Update dependencies and gradually improve legacy code;
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with development and QA teams.
Required experience and skills
- 5+ years of commercial iOS development experience;
- Expert knowledge of Swift;
- Strong commercial experience with UIKit, Storyboards, XIB, Auto Layout, and custom views;
- Strong experience with RxSwift, RxCocoa, and reactive programming;
- Practical experience with CoreBluetooth and BLE, including GATT, background modes, and connection stability;
- Ability to read and modify Objective-C code;
- Experience with local databases, Keychain, and sensitive or encrypted data;
- Strong knowledge of Swift Package Manager;
- Experience maintaining large multi-target Xcode projects;
- Experience with fastlane, TestFlight, and App Store releases;
- Strong production debugging skills;
- Ability to work independently;
English level B2 or higher.
As a plus
- Experience with RxBluetoothKit and OTA/DFU firmware updates;
- WebRTC and CallKit experience;
- Apple Watch or watchOS development experience;
- Experience with end-to-end encryption technologies such as Olm or Matrix;
- Experience with Realm and encrypted local storage;
- GitLab CI, fastlane Match, and self-hosted macOS runners;
Experience supporting applications for the Chinese market.
