Full-Stack PHP Developer

NovaCore is looking for a Full-Stack PHP Developer with commercial experience in Laravel or Symfony and strong practical knowledge of React. You will work on a modern business platform that combines complex backend workflows, external integrations, background processing, and data-driven frontend interfaces.

Project

The project is an E-commerce operations platform that helps online retailers manage products, suppliers, inventory, orders, payments, deliveries, and customer support from one system. Laravel is used for operational modules, integrations, queues, and scheduled jobs, while Symfony powers several high-load services and reusable business components. The React frontend provides dashboards, order-processing workflows, product-management interfaces, analytics, and role-based administrative tools. The team is currently adding marketplace integrations, automated inventory synchronization, payment reconciliation, and advanced operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend functionality using Laravel and Symfony.
• Build frontend modules using React and TypeScript.
• Design REST APIs and implement business workflows.
• Develop product, inventory, order, and payment functionality.
• Integrate marketplaces, logistics providers, and payment services.
• Implement queues, background jobs, and scheduled data synchronization.
• Optimize SQL queries and application performance.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Investigate production issues and improve system reliability.

• Maintain technical documentation and communicate progress clearly.

   

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial PHP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern PHP 8+.
• Production experience with Laravel or Symfony.
• Commercial experience with React.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, and clean code principles.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Eloquent, Doctrine, or another ORM.
• Experience with authentication and role-based access.
• Practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive development.
• Experience with Git.
• English level B1+.

Nice to have

• Commercial experience with both Laravel and Symfony.
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, React Query, or Zustand.
• Knowledge of Redis and background jobs.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and marketplaces.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience with PHPUnit, Pest, Jest, or React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or another cloud platform.

• Experience with high-load E-commerce systems.
