Siebel Developer

We are seeking an experienced Siebel Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Oracle Siebel CRM applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Siebel configuration, scripting, workflows, EAI/EIM integrations, and Open UI development. This role involves working closely with business analysts, functional consultants, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable CRM solutions that support sales, service, marketing, and customer relationship management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Siebel CRM applications.
• Configure Siebel objects including Business Components, Business Objects, Applets, Views, Screens, Links, Joins, MVGs, Picklists, and Virtual Business Components.
• Develop custom business logic using Siebel eScript, Siebel VB, and Browser Script.
• Design and implement Siebel Workflows, Business Services, Workflow Policies, and Runtime Events.
• Develop and support integrations using Siebel Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and JMS.
• Perform data migration, import, and export using Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM).
• Customize and enhance Siebel Open UI using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Perform application debugging, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Optimize Siebel application performance and ensure adherence to Oracle best practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational documentation.
• Support application upgrades, patches, migrations, and release management activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience developing Oracle Siebel CRM applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Siebel Tools and Siebel configuration.
• Experience with Siebel eScript, Siebel VB, and Browser Script.
• Experience developing Siebel Workflows and Business Services.
• Strong knowledge of Siebel EAI and EIM.
• Experience with Oracle Database and SQL.
• Knowledge of Siebel Open UI customization.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siebel Open UI customization.
• Experience upgrading Siebel CRM versions.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Experience integrating Siebel with Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Oracle Siebel CRM certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle CRM On Demand or Oracle CX products.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based CRM integrations.
• Familiarity with telecommunications, banking, healthcare, or public sector CRM implementations.
• Understanding of customer service, sales automation, and marketing processes.
