NetSuite Developer

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle NetSuite ERP solutions that support business operations across finance, supply chain, sales, and customer management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteCloud, and NetSuite integrations. This role involves collaborating with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Oracle NetSuite using SuiteScript 1.0/2.x.
• Customize NetSuite forms, records, fields, workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements.
• Develop and support SuiteApps using the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, SuiteTalk, and RESTlets.
• Develop custom workflows using SuiteFlow to automate business processes.
• Create and maintain saved searches, KPIs, SuiteAnalytics reports, and dashboards.
• Develop User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, RESTlets, and Suitelets.
• Perform data imports, exports, migration, and transformation using CSV Import and SuiteCloud tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite application issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.
• Support NetSuite upgrades, enhancements, and new feature implementations.
• Collaborate with NetSuite Administrators, Functional Consultants, QA teams, and business users.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and deployment packages.
• Follow NetSuite development best practices, coding standards, and governance limits.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience in NetSuite development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x (2.0/2.1).
• Experience developing Suitelets, RESTlets, User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and Map/Reduce Scripts.
• Experience with SuiteFlow workflow automation.
• Knowledge of SuiteTalk SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP architecture and customization.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON/XML.
• Experience with SQL-like queries and SuiteAnalytics.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

   

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle NetSuite Developer Certification.
• Experience implementing or supporting NetSuite ERP projects.
• Experience with SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA).
• Knowledge of NetSuite OneWorld.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with Salesforce, Shopify, Magento, SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

Production Support Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for NetSuite applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and integration failures.
• Monitor scheduled scripts, workflows, and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Support quarterly NetSuite upgrades and regression testing.
• Ensure system security, performance, and compliance.
• Maintain deployment documentation and release notes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications.
• Knowledge of eCommerce integrations.
• Experience with financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
• Experience working in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or professional services industries.
