Senior Node.js / NestJS Engineer - AI Operations Platform

Description:

We are hiring a strong senior engineer for a production-grade AI Operations Platform (real infrastructure, not wrappers), as a dedicated full-time engineer.

You will own architecture and delivery end-to-end: clean NestJS backends with real separation of concerns, MongoDB modeled and indexed around actual access patterns, and a Next.js / React front. This is architecture-first work where structure and data modeling are the difference between scaling and rewriting.

Small team, real infrastructure, end-to-end ownership.

Must-have (mandatory):

• Expert NestJS / Node.js (6+ years backend)
• Strong MongoDB (modeling, indexing)
• Next.js / React on the front
• Deep on system design, database design, and design patterns (the interview goes deep here)
• Clean-architecture mindset, real ownership
• Comfortable with AI-assisted dev tools (Cursor / Copilot)
• Strong English, comfortable leading daily technical calls

Nice-to-have:

• AI/ML or AI-agent production experience (not required)
• Cloud / DevOps basics (CI/CD, deployments)

Conditions:

• Full-time, dedicated to ONE client (no parallel projects), long-term
• Virtual-office model: team stays in a shared Google Meet during work hours, cameras and mics off by default, on only when needed. Not monitoring, just ambient presence; free breaks
• Timezone: comfortable overlap with GMT+2/+3 (client in Israel)
