More than 100,000 businesses use it to source products and connect directly with verified suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers across every country and industry. Alongside the marketplace, Globy runs a set of logistics tools, freight rate and load calculators and an unclaimed cargo directory, that help traders move goods.

The marketplace is free to join with no commissions, and we are now building the paid side of the business. Organic search is one of our biggest growth channels, and we are hiring the person who will own it and take it to the next level.
 

What You'll Do

This is a lead role. You own SEO end to end, set the strategy, and are accountable for the growth number. You will not be handed a playbook. You build it.
 

Your mission: scale Globy's organic traffic from 10-30k to 100,000+ monthly visits, and build and run the team that gets us there.

You will:

  • Set the SEO strategy and roadmap, and bring new growth ideas, not just execute a list
  • Own technical SEO across a marketplace with thousands of pages, working hand in hand with our developers
  • Build and manage a team of copywriters and link builders
  • Own content and topical authority, off-page and digital PR, and AEO and GEO
  • Tie organic to signups and paying customers, and report the number every week
     

What success looks like:

  • Organic from 10-30k to 100,000+ monthly visits
  • A content and link team you built, producing quality work that ranks and converts
  • Organic driving real signups and paying customers, not just sessions
     

Compensation: base: 2500-3500$ and bonuses by KPI (10-20% from yearly salary)
 

Time commitment: full-time, Remote
 

This Will Be For You If…

  • You have 3-5+ years of SEO for e-commerce, marketplace, or classifieds sites
  • You have run a site at 100,000+ monthly organic visits
  • Will be a plus: You have personally scaled a site from roughly 20-30k to 100,000+ organic visits, and can show the numbers
  • You are used to working with and influencing development teams
  • You have built and managed a team of copywriters, link builders and similar (incl freelancers and contractors)
  • You have experience with AEO
  • You lead, originate ideas, and are driven by growth and clear targets
  • You are fluent in English and work within European timezone overlap
