Senior QA Engineer

We're hiring QA engineer to partner with the existing team and raise the bar on test coverage, automation, and quality strategy across web stores, payment flows, and partner integrations. If you're analytical, detail-oriented, and energized by catching subtle bugs in complex multi-variable environments, this is for you.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements, technical designs, and user flows to identify gaps, risks, and missing scenarios early in the development cycle.
• Create test plans and risk-based testing strategies for complex features, especially around payment flows, alternative payment methods, and third-party integrations (PSPs, wallets, fraud, analytics).
• Investigate issues using structured logs, traces, and monitoring systems across services.
• Perform robust API, UI, and integration testing across multiple regions, currencies, devices, and browsers — including mobile web, iOS in-app SDK, and the Mobile Checkout flow.
• Lead efforts to identify automation gaps and continuously raise the bar on test effectiveness and coverage.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows and improve quality strategy and execution.

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer.
• Experience testing alternative payment methods, local payment methods, wallets, or region-specific payment behavior (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PIX, iDEAL, Klarna, etc.) 
• Solid experience testing REST APIs and validating third-party integrations (webhooks, callbacks, signatures, idempotency).
• Strong UI testing experience across web applications, browsers, devices, and responsive layouts — including mobile Safari and Android Chrome.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to understand business logic, technical flows, and data behavior across systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to detect edge cases, inconsistencies, and possible regressions.
• Sharp, methodical, strategic mindset — comfortable testing in complex, multi-variable environments.
• Self-driven, proactive, and curious with strong ownership and accountability.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

   

Nice to have

• Automation (AQA) background — optional but a strong plus (Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent).
• Experience testing the payment lifecycle end-to-end: authorization → capture → refund → chargeback → reconciliation.
• Experience with mobile SDK QA (iOS in-app payments) or webview-based checkout flows.
• Familiarity with mobile gaming economies (virtual currency, IAP catalogs, offer engines).
