Frontend Engineer

What this is about
 

We are a fast-growing software house looking for a mid-level Frontend Software Engineer to join a fully remote team.

Your main focus will be the frontend: building modern, polished, and user-friendly interfaces, improving the product experience, and turning ideas into features that users interact with every day.

At the same time, you will not work in isolation from the rest of the stack. You will collaborate closely with the backend and infrastructure side, and when needed you may also touch the services behind the scenes. We value engineers who understand how the product works end to end, even if their strongest area is frontend.

If you enjoy building clean, modern interfaces and care about how a product feels to use, this position is for you.

AI coding tools are part of our daily work, and we want them to be part of yours too. For us, they are a great way to:

• write faster the parts you already understand, while always reviewing, validating, and correcting what they produce
• reason through problems and test new solutions
• learn something new along the way

What we are not looking for is someone who pastes output they would not be able to understand or explain.

The tool speeds up the work, but your brain must remain the one making the decisions.
 

What you will do
 

• Develop and release new frontend features from start to finish
• Build modern, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces
• Work mainly with JavaScript / TypeScript on the frontend
• Improve the usability, performance, and quality of existing interfaces
• Collaborate with backend engineers and occasionally work with Go services where needed
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Work with different stakeholders in an async-first environment
   

Who we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a software engineer, preferably with a strong frontend focus
• Good command of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with Vue.js is required
• Good understanding of modern frontend development, component-based architecture, APIs, state management, and UI quality
• Independent thinking: AI is a tool, not a shortcut to avoid thinking
