Responsibilities


 

Develop and maintain a mobile-first gaming interface, including a live player, one-tap betting and cash-out functionality, and real-time rendering of rounds and multipliers.

Build real-time client-server communication using WebSocket/Socket.IO, including round synchronization, leaderboards, and lobby chat.

Develop backend services with Node.js, TypeScript, and Express 5, including the betting engine, outcome processing, and bet history.

Design and maintain REST and WebSocket APIs.

Work with PostgreSQL (via Prisma) and Redis for data storage, caching, and state synchronization.

Write and maintain automated tests using Vitest, participate in code reviews, and manage local development environments with Docker Compose.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a production-ready prototype and beta version of gaming products.


 

Requirements


 

3+ years of commercial development experience with TypeScript, including Node.js on the backend and React on the frontend.

Strong experience with real-time technologies (WebSocket/Socket.IO), including state synchronization, latency handling, and reconnection strategies.

Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (Prisma or another ORM preferred) and Redis.

Experience designing REST and WebSocket APIs.

Understanding of performance optimization and responsive, mobile-first development.

Experience writing automated tests (Vitest/Jest), following Git workflows, and independently delivering Middle+ level tasks.

Previous experience in iGaming, Sports Betting, gaming mechanics, or Provably Fair systems.


 

Nice to Have


 

Experience with Kafka/KafkaJS and ClickHouse.

Familiarity with HLS (.m3u8) video streaming or computer vision technologies.

Experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

Experience with high-load, real-time distributed systems.
