Node.js Software Engineer — Wallets

Devox Software is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our Wallets team, building secure and scalable backend services for a digital finance platform that powers reserve-backed token transactions across blockchains.

The project is a global fintech platform enabling businesses — exchanges, wallets, payment processors, and ATMs — to store, send, and receive digital tokens instantly and securely across blockchains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services for digital wallet functionality
• Ensure services remain scalable, responsive, and real-time as the platform and user base grow
• Implement and uphold the highest security standards across all backend processes to protect user assets and data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to deliver innovative platform features
• Work with peer-to-peer technologies and microservices architecture to build resilient, distributed systems

• Interact with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient, reliable data handling

   

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Node.js and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture for scalable applications
• Proven experience developing and maintaining complex platforms
• Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies
• Proficiency with MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong security awareness and experience implementing best security practices
• Quick learner, comfortable adapting to new technologies

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

   

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating blockchain technologies
• Knowledge of high-availability concepts and system reliability best practices
• Additional proficiency in Ruby, Rust, or C++

• Familiarity with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues
