Backend Engineer (with Python and Splunk experience)

Requirements
3+ years of backend engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python 3 for backend service development.
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
Basic familiarity with React for collaboration with frontend teams.
Experience with AWS services, including DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Strong experience with Redis for caching, session management, and high-availability configurations.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration, scaling, and operating containerized applications.
Experience with Helm for chart management and cluster administration.
Hands-on experience with Splunk Secure Gateway, Spacebridge, and Splunk Mobile deployment.
Experience with Splunk dashboards, including Dashboard Studio and Classic dashboards.
Experience integrating Secure Firewall App for Splunk, FMC, eStreamer Client Add-On, SNA, and Splunk HEC.
Experience with SAML 2.0, SSO, Identity Providers, Active Directory attribute mapping, and role/group configuration.
Experience with Duo Single Sign-On and Two-Factor Authentication policies.
Experience with AnyConnect Network Visibility Module and Endpoint Security Analytics.
Strong understanding of network security principles, enterprise data privacy, and secure backend architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have
Experience with Protobuf for efficient data serialization.
Experience with WebSockets for real-time bidirectional communication.
Experience with Duo Network Gateway for secure access to on-premises web applications and SSH/RDP hosts.
Knowledge of DMZ architecture and secure network design principles.
