TMetric started as a powerful yet simple time tracking solution, serving companies, agencies, consultants, and freelancers. Today, we are rapidly expanding beyond time tracking into Payroll, Billing&Invoicing, helping businesses seamlessly convert tracked time into invoices, streamline client billing, and simplify payroll calculations.

With seamless cross-platform accessibility (web, desktop, and mobile) and a strong market presence, we are scaling TMetric to become the go-to tool for time tracking, payroll, and financial workflow automation.

Your future challenges  
You will be responsible for the full testing cycle of your assigned feature including thorough test coverage, test scenario creation, and covering the feature with automation tests.

Impact you will make

Test Planning & Design

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Identify potential edge cases and prioritize test cases for efficient testing coverage.

Manual Testing

• Conduct manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and regression testing.
• Document and report bugs, tracking issues from identification to resolution.
• Work with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings to provide insights on QA requirements and improvements. 

Automation Testing 

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
• Review automated test results and troubleshoot failures as needed. 
   

Skills we are looking for 

• At least 5 years of experience in QA or software testing, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of HTTP protocol, REST API concepts, and request/response structure (headers, methods, status codes, payloads)
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
• Experience with HTTP proxy tools such as Charles Proxy, Fiddler
• Strong background in UI/functional testing of web applications
• Ability to work with design mockups (Figma or similar) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS to assess UI implementation accuracy
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL for data verification
• Practical experience in test automation using C# and Playwright (or similar)
• Experience integrating AI tools into the QA workflow (test case generation, log/data analysis, automation assistance, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques and QA methodologies
• Ability to write clear bug reports and test documentation (test cases, checklists)
• Experience with bug tracking and test management systems (Jira, TestRail, or similar)
