Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer (Node / React) - Frontend-oriented

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of the frontend architecture and user experience of our platform. 

You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and company leadership to build intuitive, high-performance applications used by insurance and financial operations teams. 

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex product challenges, setting technical direction, and delivering high-quality software in a fast-moving startup environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Design and develop scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript 
• Own frontend architecture and drive technical decisions across the product 
• Build complex data-intensive user interfaces and financial workflows 
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into elegant solutions 
• Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability 
• Establish frontend best practices, coding standards, and testing strategies 
• Participate in architecture discussions across frontend and backend systems 
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture 
• Take ownership of features from concept through production deployment 

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience 
• Strong expertise in Node JS, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture 
• Experience building complex SaaS or B2B products 
• Deep understanding of state management, performance optimization, and frontend scalability 
• Experience working closely with product and design teams 
• Strong understanding of APIs and backend integration 
• Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing practices 
• Ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal supervision 
• Experience as a Tech Lead, in startups preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experience with Next.js 
• Experience in Fintech, Insurtech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Systems 
• Experience working in startup environments 
• Familiarity with Node.js and backend development 
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native applications 
• Exposure to AI-powered products and workflows
