🚀 AIMPROSOFT — Senior DevOps Engineer !
Aimprosoft is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer on a contract basis ( ≈ 6-12 months) for an international project in the Utilities domain.
You'll become part of an engineering team building the next generation of products that help utility companies plan, manage, and optimize field operations through workflow automation, cloud technologies, and AI-powered capabilities.
🎯About the project & role:
The client operates entirely on AWS, with a mature multi-account environment managed through AWS Control Tower.
A major cloud migration has recently been completed, separating workloads across dedicated Development, Staging, Production, PCI, Security, Logging, and Audit accounts. The next strategic step is to modernize and automate the platform, making infrastructure modular, reusable, and easy to provision.
As a Senior AWS Platform Engineer, you'll work across several product teams, helping improve cloud infrastructure, streamline deployments, and build internal platform capabilities that simplify developers' daily work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and improving a large-scale AWS platform across multiple environments
- Refactoring a large Terraform codebase into reusable, modular infrastructure components
- Building self-service infrastructure solutions that enable teams to provision environments on demand
- Supporting production workloads running on ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway
- Driving infrastructure automation, platform reliability, and cloud cost optimization
- Collaborate directly with senior technical leadership, including the AWS Platform Lead and Principal Architect
- High level of ownership, trust, and technical autonomy
🔥What We Need From You:
- 5+ years of commercial experience with AWS, including Control Tower, AWS Organizations, multi-account architecture, SCPs, and Guardrails
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher for communication with international teams
- Solid experience with ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and RDS
- Proven experience supporting and operating production cloud environments
- Strong Terraform expertise, including refactoring large Infrastructure as Code projects into reusable modules
- Experience with CloudFormation is a plus
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline, or similar tools
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
- Good understanding of cloud security, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure best practices
- Experience administering PostgreSQL databases
- Hands-on Docker and containerization experience
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms

- AWS Certifications
- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or self-service infrastructure
- Experience designing automated environment provisioning
- AWS cost optimization expertise, including governance, tagging strategies, and automated resource lifecycle management
- Experience working in PCI DSS-compliant environments
- Experience implementing ChatOps solutions or Slack-integrated DevOps workflows
