Embedded Test Engineer (Windows / USB / WHQL)
We are looking for an Embedded Test Engineer to join our team and work on testing and certifying USB solutions in a Windows environment.
The primary focus of the role is testing software and drivers for USB devices, working with actual hardware, supporting automated testing, and participating in preparing products for Microsoft certification (WHQL/HLK).
Key Responsibilities
- Test USB devices, drivers, and embedded solutions in a Windows environment.
- Run, analyze, and maintain automated tests.
- Work with physical hardware (Hardware Testing), not just emulators or simulators.
- Participate in preparing products for Microsoft Windows Hardware Certification (WHQL/HLK).
- Analyze test results and determine the causes of errors (driver, device, or test environment).
- Maintain and improve the test infrastructure.
-Configure and maintain Windows test machines (deploying the environment, applying updates, ensuring stable operation).
-Collaborate with the team to resolve issues identified during testing.
Our Requirements
-Practical experience working with Windows.
-Experience with or a deep understanding of the Microsoft WHQL/HLK certification process.
-Understanding of how USB devices, drivers, or embedded systems work.
-Experience with test automation or building test infrastructure.
-Experience working with actual hardware.
A plus
-Experience testing USB drivers.
-Experience with CI/CD for automated testing.
-Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
-Experience analyzing the results of Microsoft certification tests.

We’re looking for an engineer who understands the specifics of Windows, USB, and the Microsoft certification process, has experience working with physical hardware, and is able to analyze test results. It’s important that the candidate can effectively collaborate with the development team and help identify and resolve the root causes of issues discovered during testing.
