GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join a dedicated team supporting a sophisticated, regulated medical technology platform. This role is ideal for an experienced developer with a deep mastery of Vue.js who is passionate about application performance, seamless user workflows, and clean code architecture. As a T-shaped engineer, you are also willing to contribute to backend services when needed to help the team move forward.

In this role, you will execute high-impact implementation across core platform areas—such as advanced data tables, complex application navigation, and real-time notification systems—while executing a staged Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration within the team’s scope. You will focus on complex features, performance optimization, and technical debt remediation within a secure, multi-region SaaS architecture.

Requirements

• Frontend Expertise: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong, proven focus on Vue.js (including state management, modern build tools, and the ecosystem).
• Migration Experience: Hands-on experience executing the migration of production applications from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Performance Optimization: Solid track record of profiling and optimizing frontend application performance (handling large datasets, minimizing re-renders, optimizing bundle sizes).
• Backend Awareness: A strong willingness and basic capability to contribute to a Python / Django / AWS stack to support cross-functional tasks.
• Regulated Industry (Plus): Prior experience with or interest in delivering software for the healthcare, MedTech, or medical device industry is highly preferred.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate seamlessly within a multi-region, distributed team environment.

Job responsibilities

• Feature Development & Optimization: Build and optimize complex frontend components, including high-performance data grids (with advanced filtering, sorting, and exporting capabilities) and intelligent UI state-retention mechanisms.
• Migration Execution: Implement the staged migration of legacy modules from Vue 2 to Vue 3, ensuring minimal disruption, backward compatibility, and adherence to modern best practices.
• Performance Engineering: Identify frontend bottlenecks, optimize rendering, and improve overall application responsiveness and load times.
• Full-Stack Flexibility: Collaborate with the team and proactively contribute to the Python / Django / AWS stack to support the product workflow when frontend priorities are met.
• Senior-Level Execution: Take full ownership of complex technical tasks, delivering high-quality, production-ready code independently within a distributed team environment.
