Full Stack Engineer (React, Node.js) – AI-Proficient

We're building an AI-powered Product Intelligence platform used by leading consumer goods manufacturers and retailers to transform fragmented product data, customer reviews, and market signals into actionable business insights. It's a large-scale, data-intensive product with modern engineering challenges around data processing, scalability, performance, and AI-powered analytics. 
The system enriches tens of millions of SKUs with thousands of attributes at the UPC level and ties that data to demand trends and sentiment signals. The platform combines demand analysis, consumer insights, and product intelligence to help global brands make smarter product decisions. 

About the Role:

As a Full Stack Engineer on this platform team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of key features across a modern TypeScript ecosystem. From schema design and data modeling in PostgreSQL to building interactive React interfaces, you will shape each stage of the software lifecycle. 

You'll use AI-assisted coding tools as part of your daily workflow while maintaining full ownership of code quality and delivery. Working in a small, cross-functional team, alongside product managers, data engineers, and delivery leads, helping shape AI-driven development best practices while delivering reliable, maintainable software at high velocity. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of product features, from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
• Build scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces with React and the latest frontend technologies.
• Leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
• Write and maintain automated test suites with Vitest and Playwright to ensure feature reliability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, keeping an eye on observability and performance in production.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features in a fast-paced environment.

Required Competence and Skills:

• At least 4 years of professional full stack experience building production web applications.
• Expertise in TypeScript across both frontend and backend codebases.
• Proficiency with React ecosystem (hooks, state management) and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js and its frameworks
• Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or an equivalent relational database.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily development workflow.
• Experience delivering production-ready features end-to-end, including testing and code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously and constructive approach to code review and technical discussions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience building AI/LLM-powered features (RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, or streaming).
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, NestJS, or monorepo environments.
• Experience working on data-intensive, analytics, or AI-driven products.
• Knowledge of Redis, observability tools (OpenTelemetry), or modern CI/CD practices.
