Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our internal QA team. You will work on multiple long-term projects across different domains, collaborating closely with developers, Product Managers, and other QA engineers. The role is focused on ensuring high product quality through functional, regression, integration, API, and mobile testing, while contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes within the company.

This is a long-term remote position with a collaborative team environment.
 

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA.
• Strong experience testing web applications.
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools).
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• English level: Upper Intermediate (B2) or higher.
   

Will be a plus

• Experience working with fintech, healthcare, SaaS, or other complex business domains.
• Experience with Charles Proxy, Proxyman, BrowserStack, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of test automation (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and willingness to grow in this direction.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Swagger.
   

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Test web and mobile applications across different platforms and devices.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, checklists, and test reports.
• Perform API testing and validate backend functionality.
• Identify, document, and verify defects using Jira.
• Participate in requirements analysis and provide QA feedback during feature planning.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, Designers, and other QA engineers.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and maintaining high product quality across projects.
• Participate in release verification and production validation when required.
