Mechanical Engineer

The project is delivered for a well-known company that designs and manufactures seating solutions for the railway industry.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive professional who brings not only strong technical expertise, but also fresh ideas and a creative mindset. The ideal candidate is open-minded, solution-oriented, and eager to drive improvements rather than just follow existing processes.
A solid background in working with steel and plastics is essential, along with the ability to combine engineering knowledge with a practical approach to design and production.

Your tasks:

• Designing and developing 3D models and 2D technical drawings of tooling, fixtures and related mechanical assemblies using CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks)
• Translating engineering concepts and production requirements into precise, manufacturable tooling designs with defined materials, dimensions and tolerances
• Developing detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications and assembly instructions to support manufacturing and production teams
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, quality requirements and internal guidelines throughout the tooling design process

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience in designing and developing interior components.
• Strong knowledge of steel and plastic structures, including component design and material applications.
• Experience in creating, updating, and modifying 3D models and 2D technical documentation.
• Solid background in working with steel and plastic materials, with the ability to combine engineering expertise and a practical approach to design, manufacturing, and production processes.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Tax residency in Ukraine is required.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with steel and plastic products, a strong technical understanding of mechanical design principles, and the ability to deliver practical, manufacturable solutions while maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
