Our client is a UK-based logistics and delivery technology company operating one of the country's largest last-mile delivery networks.

Every week, millions of parcels, newspapers, and essential goods are delivered through their platform for some of the UK's largest retailers and logistics providers.

After more than two decades of operational success, the company is investing in a complete rebuild of its core technology platform using a modern JavaScript ecosystem. This is a true greenfield project where engineering teams have the opportunity to design scalable systems without the burden of legacy architecture.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building products end-to-end and wants to play a key role in defining the architecture of an entirely new platform.

Location & Working Model

This is a hybrid position based in Paphos, Cyprus, with two/ three days per week in the office for architecture workshops, technical planning, and collaborative design sessions.

We're looking for engineers who are already based in Cyprus or are ready to relocate for a long-term opportunity. The company offers official full-time employment and can support relocation for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

Full Stack Development

• Build modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Design scalable database structures with PostgreSQL
• Deliver features from concept through production deployment

Architecture & Engineering

• Design scalable, maintainable system architecture
• Make technical decisions that support long-term platform growth
• Build cloud-native applications using AWS and Docker
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical planning

Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Help establish engineering standards and development best practices
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and CTO on product direction
• Grow into leading a team of engineers as the organization scales

Product Collaboration

• Work directly with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into software
• Build internal platforms used daily by operations teams, dispatchers, and drivers
• Continuously improve products based on real customer and business feedback

What You Bring

• 5+ years of commercial Full Stack development experience
• Strong React and modern frontend architecture experience
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience designing REST APIs and scalable backend systems
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Experience working with AWS and Docker
• Understanding of software architecture, scalability, and engineering best practices
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience with Prisma ORM
• Experience designing distributed systems
• CI/CD and cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience building high-load or mission-critical applications
• Previous experience leading engineering teams
