Middle/Senior Angular Developer Offline

We are looking for an experienced Angular Developer to join our team on a freelance basis and take a key role in modernizing and enhancing enterprise-level applications. The primary focus of this position will be migrating existing functionalities from Angular v13 (including one legacy AngularJS module) to Angular v21 while ensuring application stability, scalability, and performance.

As part of the team, you will work closely with the existing application architecture, develop new features, integrate frontend components with backend REST services, and optimize application performance to provide an excellent user experience.

This is a full-time freelance engagement, offering the opportunity to contribute to a challenging enterprise modernization project.

Responsibilities:

• Migrate enterprise application functionalities from Angular v13 and AngularJS to Angular v21.
• Maintain and improve the current application architecture.
• Develop and implement new frontend features and functionality.
• Integrate frontend components with backend REST services.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Angular applications and build processes.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with team members during development and deployment activities.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with modern Angular frameworks and deep understanding of Angular ecosystem core principles.
• Proven experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Confident experience with GitHub and version control workflows.
• Experience with Angular application deployment processes using Tomcat.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience optimizing complex build processes and resolving issues such as "out of memory" errors.

Nice to Have:

• Proven experience migrating legacy applications from AngularJS and intermediate Angular versions (e.g., Angular 13) to newer Angular versions.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and complex frontend architectures.
