Partnership Manager (Hardware)
ThingsBoard, Inc. is a US corporation founded in 2016, with an R&D center in Kyiv, Ukraine. We are the main contributors and maintainers of the ThingsBoard open-source IoT Platform. We deliver and continuously improve a scalable, robust, and affordable IoT Platform that significantly reduces time-to-market for life-changing IoT solutions. We also help companies build outstanding IoT products based on ThingsBoard.
You'll grow and manage part of the ThingsBoard partner ecosystem β hardware vendors and creators/affiliates. The role mixes relationship-building, hands-on coordination, and enough technical curiosity to understand how partners' devices connect to the platform. You'll work closely with the marketing team and a technical specialist. A good fit if you enjoy building long-term relationships, aren't put off by technical detail, and like turning a loose process into a working one.
Requirements:
- Experience in B2B partnerships β any kind (programs, alliances, channel, business development)
- Willingness to dig into the technical side of IoT connectivity β protocols, device types, integrations β without being put off by the detail
- Upper-Intermediate English
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard new hardware partners, including the technical side of integrating their devices (with support from a technical specialist)
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing partners
- Coordinate co-marketing activities with the marketing team
- Grow the affiliate network β find potential affiliates and run outreach
- Set up and automate how we work with affiliates
Will be a plus:
- Technical background or technical education
- Experience in IoT, hardware, telecommunications, or industrial sectors
- Experience working with international partners
