FullStack Software Engineer (Python/React)

About the Role:

As a Senior FullStack Software Engineer, you will own the end-to-end delivery of critical platform capabilities. You will translate product requirements into robust backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces, design scalable APIs, and contribute to architectural decisions that support future growth.

You will work closely with Product Management, Data & AI teams, and DevOps engineers to prototype new features, conduct code and security reviews, and automate deployment pipelines. This role offers significant autonomy—from design and implementation through production support and strategic planning of next-generation platform services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and refine feature requirements from concept through deployment.
• Design and implement backend services in Python, including RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and event-processing systems.
• Develop responsive frontend components using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
• Build highly available and scalable solutions in a Kubernetes environment on AWS, leveraging Docker, EKS, and managed cloud services.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools and intelligent automation capabilities into engineering workflows for rapid prototyping and quality assurance.
• Participate in architecture, code, security, and operational reviews to uphold engineering best practices.
• Write and maintain automated tests, end-to-end test suites, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure production readiness.
• Provide on-call support for production incidents, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues within your area of ownership.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design documentation, and prototype evaluations for new platform capabilities.

Required Competence and Skills:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack roles with both frontend and backend responsibilities with Python and React.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and workflows to accelerate delivery and improve software quality.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, and client-side integrations.
• Proven ability to work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and in-memory data stores (Redis) at scale.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment patterns (AWS preferred).
• Demonstrated ownership of features throughout the entire software lifecycle, from design and implementation to production support.
• High proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM and its core principles
• Experience designing Frontend software architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, self-management skills, and excellent communication in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Understanding of microservices architectures, event-driven systems, and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Operating services and infrastructure in Cloud environments 
• Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS platforms and enterprise-scale integrations.
