About the Role:

As a Senior FullStack Software Engineer you will own end-to-end delivery of critical platform capabilities. You will translate product requirements into robust backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces, design scalable APIs, and shape architectural decisions for future growth. You’ll work closely with product management, AI research and DevOps to prototype features, conduct code and security reviews, and automate deployment pipelines. This role offers real autonomy: from design and implementation through to on-call production support and strategic planning of next-generation email security services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and engineering to define and refine feature requirements from concept through deployment.
• Design and implement backend services in Python - including RESTful APIs, data pipelines and event processing.
• Develop responsive frontend components using React, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, ensuring cross-browser and mobile support.
• Build high-availability, scalable solutions in a Kubernetes environment on AWS, leveraging Docker, EKS and managed services.
• Integrate machine-learning agents and AI-assisted coding tools into the development workflow for rapid prototyping and quality assurance.
• Participate in architecture, code, security and operational reviews to uphold engineering best practices.
• Write and maintain automated tests, end-to-end test suites and CI/CD pipelines for production readiness.
• Offer on-call support for production incidents, quickly diagnosing and remediating issues in your domain.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design docs and prototype evaluations for new platform services.

Required Competence and Skills:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack roles with both frontend and backend responsibilities.
• Deep proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI, with a focus on scalable, testable code.
• Strong React and modern JavaScript skills, including state management, component architecture and UI performance tuning.
• Employ AI-assisted development tools and workflows to accelerate coding and improve quality.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, JSON-based services and client-side integrations.
• Proven ability to work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and in-memory stores (Redis) at scale.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native patterns for deployment and scaling (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of microservices, event streaming and message brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Demonstrated ownership of features from design to production support, including on-call rotations.
• Experience with automated testing, continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, self-management and excellent communication in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud services beyond compute - Lambda, SQS, SNS or equivalent.
• Background in email security, phishing detection or related cybersecurity domains.
• Exposure to advanced data stores or search platforms (OpenSearch, Elasticsearch).
• Familiarity with front-end design systems and component libraries.
• Prior work in multi-tenant SaaS environments or MSP integrations.
