AI Integration Engineer (Copilot Studio + Python) (IRC295653)

Description

We are looking for an experienced AI Agent Integration Engineer to help operationalize AI-driven workflows built with Copilot Studio. This role is focused less on prompt engineering and more on agent design, the underlying platform architecture, workflow automation, data modeling, integrations, deployment, and enterprise rollout needed to bring AI agents into production. The ideal candidate understands how to turn prototypes into reliable enterprise solutions

Requirements

Required:

• Python development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) or a similar tool
• Building and deploying custom AI agents.
• Proven experience taking AI agents from prototype to a live production environment.
• Experience distributing and managing enterprise agents inside Microsoft Teams.
• Experience integrating APIs and external services via Custom Connectors. 

Nice to have:

• Azure Functions or custom connectors
• Experience with Power Automate (specifically connecting flows to AI agents/chatbots) and Dataverse.
• Understanding of Power Platform ALM, environment strategy, and governance.
• Power Apps experience CI/CD for Power Platform
• Experience distributing and managing enterprise agents inside Microsoft Teams
• Familiarity with AI/agent workflows Healthcare or regulated industry experience

Job responsibilities

• Design and build conversational AI agents in Copilot Studio and deploy them to production (Microsoft Teams / M365)
• Extend agent capabilities with pro-code components: Python, Azure Functions, custom APIs, and custom connectors
• Build and orchestrate backend workflows in Power Automate, using Dataverse as the data layer
• Integrate LLMs (Azure OpenAI / GPT-4) into business scenarios, including prompt design, grounding, and quality evaluation
• Own the full agent lifecycle: design → build → deploy → monitor → iterate based on real user feedback
• Collaborate with the project sponsor and stakeholders to translate business needs into working AI solutions
