Senior Telecom Software Engineer (5G/RAN/EPC)

Project Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong telecom domain expertise to join a project focused on next-generation network technologies, including 5G, RAN, EPC, wireless communications, and network security solutions.

The role combines software development with deep understanding of telecom systems and protocols. Candidates should be comfortable working in complex network environments and leveraging modern AI tools to improve productivity and engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain telecom-related software components.
• Contribute to solutions supporting 5G, RAN, EPC, wireless, and network security technologies.
• Participate in architecture discussions, system design, and technical analysis.
• Develop and optimize software using Java, C++, Python, or similar technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex distributed environments.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and system engineering teams.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and quality.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong software development experience in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience within telecom, networking, or wireless communication domains.
• Knowledge of 5G, RAN, EPC, wireless technologies, or network security.
• Understanding of distributed systems and software architecture.
• Experience with Linux-based environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with network testing platforms.
• Security and PQC knowledge.
• Automation and CI/CD experience.
• Practical usage of AI development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and containerization.
