Senior Automation QA Engineer for a complex financial platform (offline)

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will interact daily with a cross-functional team to add value and uphold quality through application of testing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and passion for quality, testing and analyzing stock trading and capital market business processes.

What you will be doing:
• Analyzing requirements and translating them into test matrices
• Writing and executing test scripts using automated BDD toolsets
• Supporting automated testing processes and practices, maintaining testing data sets
• Evaluating and reporting test results and coverage
• Raising defects and ensuring defect cycle follow through to successful re-test and closure
• Working closely with onsite product owners and analysts and in an Agile environment to ensure quality, security, and maintenance of business processes
• Challenging established norms and innovate
• Contributing to the success of the business and team

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:
• 4+ years commercial testing experience
• Practical experience with test automation – writing and executing test scripts
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, concepts, techniques, tools, etc.
• Experience testing large scale applications
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and unambiguous manner
• Ability to develop Test Requirements Matrix
• Good English language written and verbal communication skills

It is good if you previously had any exposure to:
• Finance or Capital Markets business domain and especially post trade security processing
• BDD tools and frameworks
• SQL and XML
