Key responsibilities in your new role:
 

  • Develop comprehensive verification plans, test cases, and coverage metrics for embedded firmware
  • Verify real-time control firmware for MCU-based DC/DC digital power controllers
  • Design and execute tests for serial communication protocols (e.g., I2C, PMBus, UART)
  • Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for firmware validation (Python preferred)
  • Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and mixed-signal validation using ADC, DAC, GPIO, and communication peripherals
  • Debug firmware-hardware interactions using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG tools)
  • Document verification activities, analyze results, and support continuous improvement of verification processes


Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in embedded firmware verification, validation, or test engineering
  • Strong proficiency in C programming and understanding of embedded system architectures
  • Expertise in verifying serial protocols, such as I2C, UART, and PMBus
  • Experience performing lab‑based debugging with mixed‑signal hardware
  • Familiarity with GIT, JTAG debuggers, and firmware development workflows
  • Fluency in English
