Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join a long-term international project in the insurance technology domain.

The platform serves multiple user groups and supports complex business processes through a modern web application. The engineering team already includes backend developers, cloud engineers, and a dedicated product designer. Your primary focus will be transforming high-fidelity Figma designs into scalable, production-ready user interfaces and delivering seamless user experiences across the platform.

This is a part-time engagement with the potential to expand as the project evolves.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
• Convert Figma designs into clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend solutions.
• Integrate frontend functionality with backend services and APIs.
• Build and support complex forms, workflows, and data-driven interfaces.
• Ensure consistency across the platform's UI, UX, and design system.
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and frontend architecture decisions.

• Continuously improve application performance, accessibility, and usability.

   

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Frontend Development experience.
• Strong experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience implementing Figma designs with high visual accuracy.
• Experience building complex forms and workflow-oriented applications.
• Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive web development.
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Git/GitHub experience.

• Portfolio or examples of delivered frontend projects.

   

Technical Expertise

We are looking for someone who has practical experience with:

• Building scalable web applications using React.js and/or Next.js
• Developing maintainable and type-safe applications with TypeScript
• Creating modern user interfaces using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
• Implementing responsive, mobile-friendly, and cross-browser compatible interfaces
• Translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect production-ready solutions
• Working with reusable components and modern frontend architecture patterns
• Developing and maintaining Design Systems
• Managing application state using modern state management approaches
• Integrating and consuming REST APIs
• Implementing authentication, authorization, and user access flows
• Collaborating through Git/GitHub workflows, pull requests, and code reviews

• Applying frontend best practices related to performance, maintainability, accessibility, and code quality

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with Auth0 or similar authentication platforms.
• Experience working on SaaS, Enterprise, FinTech, or Insurance products.
• Experience building role-based applications and permission-driven interfaces.
• Experience with complex multi-step forms and workflow-heavy systems.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and visual design quality.
