Lead Golang Engineer (AI-First Product)

We are looking for a Lead Golang Engineer to join an exciting long-term project focused on building an AI-powered tourism platform.

This is not a traditional coding role.

We are looking for engineers who can build and deliver features end-to-end using modern AI-assisted development tools, with a strong preference for Claude Code and similar agentic AI solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering position with strong technical leadership responsibilities. While this is not a people-management role, the successful candidate must have proven experience leading delivery within engineering teams, coordinating execution, and driving outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Golang (exceptionally strong candidates with 4+ years may also be considered)
• Proven experience delivering production-ready features end-to-end
• Mandatory experience leading delivery within a development team
• Demonstrable experience acting as a technical lead within a squad, including:
  • breaking down work and defining execution plans
  • coordinating engineering efforts across team members
  • representing the team during planning sessions
  • communicating with stakeholders
  • facilitating successful delivery outcomes
• Strong experience using AI coding tools in daily development workflows
• Proven AI-first engineering experience is required
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code is highly preferred
• Candidates should be prepared to provide specific examples of using AI-assisted development tools during the application process
• Strong English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate / Advanced)
• Self-driven mindset, ownership mentality, and ability to work autonomously

• Build and deliver product features end-to-end using Golang and AI-assisted development workflows
• Drive technical delivery across the team
• Coordinate engineering efforts and help unblock delivery challenges
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Champion AI-first development practices and help improve engineering productivity through AI tools
• Work in a highly autonomous, fast-moving engineering environment
