Embedded C/C++ Engineer (Ukraine)

We are seeking a Senior Embedded / Hardware / OT Engineer to join an international product team developing a sophisticated geospatial data fusion and risk-analytics platform. The project focuses on real-time situational awareness, multi-source data ingestion, and AI-driven anomaly detection to protect critical infrastructure and optimize complex logistics. This role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to build high-impact edge computing architectures within a highly professional, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate specialized physical sensors (RF equipment, imaging systems, and telemetry hardware) into a unified cloud/edge data pipeline.
• Develop robust communication drivers and protocols for hardware interfacing, including NMEA and MAVLink.
• Bridge the gap between software systems and clients' physical operations by connecting industrial OT/SCADA environments.
• Design and implement edge solutions engineered to maintain high availability in low-bandwidth or remote operational fields.
• Collaborate with autonomous systems frameworks, including PX4 / ArduPilot, to enable event-driven response workflows.
• Work independently within a lean engineering team, taking full accountability for end-to-end hardware-to-software delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Embedded C/C++ and software development for Linux / ARM platforms.
• Proven track record in Sensor integration, Hardware platforms, and operational technology (OT).
• Solid understanding of SCADA / OT networks and industrial protocols such as Modbus or IEC 61850.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems, aerospace/marine telemetry, or critical infrastructure defense applications is highly advantageous.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced level of English (very good spoken and written communication skills).
• Proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions in a remote team setup.

• Location: Remote (Candidates must be Ukrainian citizens located within Ukraine due to compliance and security requirements).
• Time Zone: Aligned with CET.
